Echoes brings your ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Perplexity, and AI Studio conversations into one place, with powerful search, labels, favorites, projects, exports, and the Echo AI Assistant. The desktop app does everything the Chrome extension does and adds features only a native app can: AI that runs on your own machine, saved highlights, markdown notes, several conversations open side by side, and a local conversation database. Use the extension if you live in the browser, the desktop app if you want the full set — or both, since your data syncs between them.

For the extension, open the Chrome Web Store, search for "Echoes", and click "Add to Chrome" — then pin the icon to your toolbar. For the desktop app, download the build for Windows, macOS, or Linux from the Desktop page. Signing in works the same either way: click the profile icon, enter your email, and click the one-time link we send you. There is no password to remember. Use the email you bought your licence with, since the link signs you in to the account holding that licence.

One search bar covers every conversation from all seven platforms. You can filter by date, account, platform, label, favorite, or project, and advanced search supports fuzzy matching for typos, logical operators (AND, OR, NOT), exact phrases in quotes, word-stem matching, and "Did you mean" suggestions. Inside a conversation, your search terms are highlighted on the platform's own page with controls to jump between every match.

Echo is a built-in conversational search assistant included with Plus and Lifetime. Ask in plain English and it finds the right conversation across every platform, opens it, favorites it, or resets your filters — all from one chat input, with clickable results and history that survives navigation. Plus and Lifetime include 50 queries every month at no extra cost and with no API key, shown live in your chat bar. If you need more, AI add-on plans give 500 queries a month for $5 or 2,000 for $10, and one-time Bonus Packs that never expire start at 100 queries for $2.

Yes, in the desktop app. Echoes Desktop ships with its own AI runtime and downloads a small model in the background the first time you run it, so there is nothing to install and no API key to paste. Once it is ready, your requests to Echo are answered on your machine instead of being sent to a cloud model. If you already run Ollama, Echoes uses that installation and skips the download. On-device queries still count against your monthly allowance — only the computation moves to your machine.

Label conversations by project or topic with nested sublabels and drag-and-drop, mark favorites, and filter by your ChatGPT Projects and Gemini Gems, which Echoes recognizes automatically. Bulk actions let you label, export, or delete dozens at once. The desktop app adds highlights — save any passage in five colours or your own, anchored to the exact spot and synced across devices — and markdown notes you can send passages into while you read, all covered by the same search.

Your conversations, labels, and searches are processed locally — in your browser for the extension, and in a database on your own computer for the desktop app, which is local-first by design.
