What is a query?

One question to Echo AI

Each question you ask Echo AI is one query. It answers from your own conversations across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and the rest, plus your Spaces, notes and highlights.

50 a month with Plus

Plus and Lifetime members get 50 queries every month at no extra cost. The allowance resets each month, and the chat bar shows how many you have left.

No API key, no extra setup

Queries run on Echoes. You don’t need an OpenAI or Anthropic key. AI summaries are a separate allowance and don’t use queries.

Monthly plans

A fixed number of queries every month, on top of the 50 in your membership. Cancel any time from Settings → Subscription.

Query packs

Pay once, use whenever. Pack queries never expire, and Echo AI uses them after your monthly allowance runs out. Good for a busy week without a monthly plan.

How to get an AI plan

AI plans are bought in the Echoes desktop app

Queries are added to your Echoes account, so you buy them while signed in to the app. You need an active Echoes Plus or Lifetime membership first.

    Already a member? Skip to step 2. Plus starts with a 7-day free trial. Use the email you’ll sign in to Echoes with.

  2. Step 2

    Install Echoes Desktop

    Download the app for Windows, Mac or Linux and sign in with your membership email.

  3. Step 3

    Choose your AI plan

    In the app, click Subscription at the bottom of the left bar. Pick a monthly plan or a pack and pay with Stripe. The queries are on your account straight away.
