Why it matters
Each AI asks the same things: what language you code in, how long you want answers, what your company does. ChatGPT's memory stays on ChatGPT. Echoes memory goes into a new chat on any of the seven platforms, and Echoes doesn't write to their own memory features.
Step by step
- 1
Add facts
Open Settings → Memory. Type a fact such as "I write TypeScript and prefer short answers" and press
Enteror click Add. Hover a fact to Edit or Delete it. - 2
Or remember a passage
With the highlighter on, select text in a chat and click Remember on the highlight card. The passage becomes a fact. If the chat is in a Space, it joins that Space's facts instead.
- 3
Add your memory to a new chat
Open a new chat on any platform. Click Add memory in the toolbar (Put your memory into this new chat). Check the message in Add to this <AI> chat and click Add to chat. Echoes pastes it; you press Send.
