Filter chats by date

The All Time dropdown in the filter bar limits the list to a time window. Pick a preset or choose Custom Range and set two dates.

Why it matters

You know you asked about the vendor contract "around the start of March". A date range cuts 2,000 chats down to the 60 from that fortnight, and a keyword search finds it from there.

Step by step

    Open the date dropdown

    Click All Time in the filter bar.

    Pick a preset

    Choose Today, Yesterday, This Week, Last Week, Last Month, Last 7 Days or Last 30 Days. The list updates at once.

    Or set a custom range

    Choose Custom Range, fill in From Date and To Date, and click Apply. Clear empties the dates.

Good to know

  • The filter uses each chat's last-updated date, so an old chat you added to yesterday counts as yesterday.
  • You can type the same windows in the search box: date:today, date:lastweek, date:last14days.
  • The Last Month preset means the previous calendar month. Typing date:lastmonth means the last 30 days.
