FreeCheck your Lite plan usage
Open Settings → AI Usage (named Usage Limits when you aren't signed in). The Free Tier Usage panel shows a bar for each monthly allowance. They reset on the 1st.

Why it matters
Lite gives you 20 searches and 10 summaries a month. A glance at the bars tells you whether to save them for later in the month, or whether Plus would pay for itself.
Step by step

Open the usage tab
Click the gear on the left rail, then AI Usage (or Usage Limits).

Read the bars
Each bar shows used and allowed for the month, such as Searches 7 / 20. Echoes resets the monthly counts on the 1st.

Hitting a limit
At a limit, Echoes shows Limit Reached with Maybe Later and Upgrade. Plus removes the monthly limits.
